A new trip to the Black Rock Desert gave us another opportunity to photograph the amazing Fly Geyser.
We had heavy clouds at sunrise, so we had to wait around to the sun to break through. again we had to deal with a lot of steam as the air temp was on the cold side.
Nice shot of an awesome looking place. I looked on google and it said they no longer offer access to the public. What's the current status on gaining access to this?
I found a umber on the b but on other sites they say they no longer open it to the public. Conflicting info. Maybe the only way to find out is stop in the area and see.
You would have to call ahead and make an appointment to meet him at the gate. The gate keepers name is Dave Jamison. I don't know if he's in the phone book or not, but you could give it a try.
Don't just show up and try to get it, it will never happen.
Gordon's Photo is no longer giving out the number.
