This was the first time either of us to visit the area so there was a learning curve to find out what was the best birding areas. We had difficult lighting and had fog on the last day we were there. Friends Mike and Karen joined us on our adventures, both of them have been there before, so they helped us out to find the better birding spots. It was a harder location to photograph then we were expecting as all of the fields are off limits and the birds were very jumpy except for a few bald eagles that allowed us to come close with our car and take photos.
All in all we had a great time photographing eagles, hawks, tundra swans, snow geese, white fronted geese as well as amazing sunsets.
Can't wait to go back!
